The condition survey is an exhaustive survey to assess the general condition of the yacht, covering the structural aspect, mechanics, navigation equipment, spars and rigs, and all devices on board.

The condition survey report lists all the defects or issues of the yacht to objectively inform potential buyer and to assess the induced costs of repairs. It can be combined with an estimation of the value.

In order to complete a condition survey, the yacht has to be inspected afloat, on the hard and finally ending with sea trials.
